Introducing In-App Chat for Leet Riders and Drivers
Leet riders and drivers can now coordinate pickup, arrival, and trip details through secure real-time chat without sharing extra contact information.
A smooth shared ride depends on clear coordination. Leet’s in-app chat gives riders and drivers a direct way to confirm pickup details, share arrival updates, and handle small changes without leaving the app.
Coordinate every step of the ride
Chat becomes available as soon as a ride request is pending and remains open after it is accepted and while the trip is in progress. Drivers can open the conversation from their ride requests and passenger cards, while riders can reach the same conversation from their ride flow.
What you can do with Leet chat
- Send and receive messages in real time.
- Open the correct conversation directly from a chat notification.
- See when your message has been sent or read.
- Retry a message if the connection drops before it is delivered.
- Review the conversation after a completed trip in read-only mode.
Designed with privacy and safety in mind
Only the rider and driver connected to a specific ride request can access its conversation. Chat participant details are kept limited, so both people can coordinate without sharing additional personal information. Messages also pass through safety rules that prevent abusive, violent, or explicit content from being sent.
Useful messages, right when they matter
Tell your driver which gate you are waiting at. Let your rider know you are two minutes away. Confirm a landmark when a pickup point is busy. These quick updates reduce uncertainty and help everyone start the trip on time.
